Immunodermatology


Immunodermatology is termed as the study, diagnosis and treatment of the Immune-Mediated Skin Diseases such as psoriasis. Autoimmune diseases are the diseases in which our body immune system erroneously acts against our own healthy cells or tissues or parts of the body. Some of the diseases like Systemic Lupus Erythematous (SLE), Bullous Pemphigoid (BP) and Pemphigus Vulgaris (PV) are under this category.  In case of Systemic Lupus Erythematous (SLE), most commonly facial tissues are targeted.
